The MHD095C-024-NG0-AN is a digital servo motor from the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The motor is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure, safeguarding it from dust and low-pressure water jets. This allows it to be installed next to operating machinery, thus cutting costs and facilitating maintenance. Power is drawn from a drive controller, with feedback being relayed via a feedback cable. Even though a holding brake doesn't come standard with the motor, it can be ordered accordingly. Furthermore, the motor's main shaft is simply designed and includes a sealing ring to protect against dust and water, but this requires periodic replacement. Two cooling methods - natural convection and surface cooling - can be employed. The motor operates at a consistent speed of 2000 RPM and can output a peak current of 64.4 Amps. Fitted with four pole pairs, it mounts through four holes on its 140mm flange and centres on a 130mm diameter.
