The 1006-2260-023-004 (MIV30-3-V1) is an inverter engineered by Okuma that facilitates communication with various peripherals through a series of links, including encoder, servo, and converter links. Its core is an embedded ICB3 control board that manages a 30kW capacity motor. The inverter can control both the axis drive and spindle motors and it features a feed shaft and a PLC axis. Its structure includes a cooling fan on top and a radiation fin at the bottom. An oscilloscope can be connected to the motor terminal to monitor the servo waveform. Turned ON/OFF and status visibility is controlled through a seven-segment LED display that showcases normal and alarm operation modes, while also indicating error numbers during alarm situations for trouble-shooting. It features a type 1 control ROM and is compatible with Okuma’s VAC range of motors. The display highlights the operational state, indicating velocity, tool path, or positioning mode. Internal RAM initialization errors are denoted by the L1 code. The system may encounter various errors including parity, watchdog, or loop errors as a result of a CPU processing error.
