The MKD071B-024-KG3-KN servo motor is designed for a wide range of applications, including machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, automation, and handling. This electronically commutated motor features low inertia mass due to its magnetic materials and comes with an integrated encoder system for precise rotor control and positioning. Available encoder feedback systems include Resolver-feedback (RSF) and Resolver feedback with integrated multi-turn absolute encoder for detecting motor position. The motor is balanced with a complete feather key per DIN 332 requirements, with a separate purchase necessary for connection to machine elements. The MKD071B-024-KG3-KN also employs a holding brake with electrical release for clamping the servo axis when not in use. With a storage temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and an operating temperature of 0°C to +45°C, the motor should be stored horizontally, dry, and dust-free away from vibration, and can be installed up to 1000m above sea level.
