The MMC-D8A2 is a high-performance machine and motion control solution component from Kollmorgen's MMC smart drive control product line. This unit, suitable for either a 230V single-phase or a 460V 3-phase MMC-SD smart drive, comes with standard auxiliary feedback, plug & play feedback and power cables, and integral power supply. It can efficiently manage 8 MMC-SD smart drives and is configurable through PiCPro tools for PiC controls. Equipped with built-in expandable I/Os powered by a DC 24V, the MMC-D8A2 has an array of components including a serial port, general I/O ports, a 32-bit RISC processor CPU with numeric coprocessing, and a Block Input/Output port. It features eight LEDs, has 8 axis control, 8 solid-state switches, and offers a maximum output current of 0.25 Amps. The unit operates within a voltage range of DC 5V - 30V and can be connected to external devices using optional accessories.
