The 3DI476.6, manufactured by B & R Automation, is a digital input module designed for industrial control systems. It features 16 digital inputs divided into four electrically isolated groups, operating at a nominal 24 VDC. Each channel has status indicators for monitoring, and while there is electrical isolation between groups and the PLC, individual channels within a group are not isolated. The module supports both sink and source input circuits with a hardware input filter response time of less than 1.2 milliseconds, ensuring precise signal processing. Certified by UKCA, CE, and cULus, it meets industrial standards. It is rated IP20 per EN 60529 and operates effectively in temperatures from 0 to 60°C, with storage tolerance from 25 to 70°C, and relative humidity from 5 to 95%. Compatible with System 2005 base and extension units, it requires a separately purchased terminal block, such as the 20-pin 3TB170.9 or 3TB170.91, for installation.
