The AKM23F-BSCN2-02 by Kollmorgen is a specialized synchronous servomotor with a custom shaft design and no holding brake. It features a plug-and-play motor recognition for seamless integration with Kollmorgen drives. The motor boasts a maximum stalled torque of 1.4 Nm, high torque density windings with thermal protection, and increased thermal dissipation for enhanced performance. Weighing 3 kg, it operates within an ambient temperature range of 5°C to 40°C and has a maximum rated power of 0.30 kW. The motor exhibits extremely low cogging and requires careful setup, including ensuring all drive components are correctly positioned. Its rotor must be free to revolve during installation, and precautions must be taken against potential dangerous voltages up to 900 V. It should be cooled below 40°C before handling post-operation. The device supports vertical mounting and might cause EMC interference if not properly shielded.
