The AKM24F-BNBN2-00 by Kollmorgen is a synchronous motor designed to be driven by a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier. It requires a DC link voltage below 40 V when disconnecting its electrical connections and must adhere to precise wiring diagrams. It should be installed using frictionally locking, backlash-free couplings or collets. Excessive radial or axial loads on the shaft reduce its lifespan, and care must be taken to avoid undue stress during assembly. Installation should occur in environments free from aggressive, conductive materials, and liquid entry must be prevented, especially when mounted with the shaft upwards. This motor has two M23 Intercontec connectors and features standard customization with two stacks and a single-turn comcoder offering a resolution of 8,192 bits. Its operating range is 5°C to 40°C with a back EMF constant of 23.4 Vrms/krpm. The motor becomes hot during operation and requires hazardous analysis for its installation in electrical machinery to preserve safety.
