The ECPT81-0 by B & R Automation is a high-performance module from the ECP Series, tailored for precise temperature measurement using PT100 sensors. It supports eight channels of analog input compliant with DIN 43760 standards. The module offers a programmable temperature range of -25 to +75°C or -25 to +475°C, suitable for diverse industrial environments. Featuring a 10-bit resolution and a 3-millisecond conversion time, the module ensures accurate and rapid data processing. Its hardware automatic linearization minimizes linear errors, enhancing measurement accuracy. The three-wire connection reduces signal interference, improving data quality. Operational accuracy includes a basic accuracy of ~0.3% at 20°C. With an offset drift of ~0.039% per °C and a gain drift of ~0.017% per °C, it maintains stability across temperature changes. The module's power consumption is flexible at 1.4W at 8V, 0.9W at 15V, and 1.5W at -30V, optimizing energy use in various configurations.
