The EP3184-1002 module from Beckhoff's EP Digital Input Modules series operates on 24 V DC and uses EtherCAT communication. It offers 16-bit resolution, supports ±10 V and 0/4–20 mA signal types, and accommodates four single-ended inputs with a conversion time of approximately 100 µs. A configurable input filter with a 5 kHz cutoff minimizes noise, and distributed clocks enable microsecond synchronization. Operating from –25 to 60 °C, it features robust M8 and M12 connectors.
