The Beckhoff EP6224-0042 digital input module from the EP Digital Input Modules series is a robust EtherCAT-enabled interface providing 8 additional digital inputs at a 24 V DC nominal input voltage (-15%/+20%) with 10 μs input filtering for precise signal acquisition. Featuring 2 x M12 D-coded sockets for bus interface and M12 A-coded connection, this IP65/66/67-rated unit operates from -25 °C to +60 °C and stores from -40 °C to +85 °C, while delivering IO-Link V1.1 Class A on 4 interfaces with 24 V DC, 1.4 A per port supply, all in an approx. 440 g package.
