The B&R Automation X20DI8371 is a digital input module from the X20 Series, designed for industrial automation control systems. It operates at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC, with typical input currents of 3.75 mA. The input filter is programmable from 0 to 25 ms, factory-set at 1 ms, with each signal adjustable in 0.2 ms intervals. This module includes diagnostic features using LED and software to monitor I/O functions, operational status, and module state. It consumes 0.18 W from the bus and 1.2 W from external I/O. Conforming to EN 61131-2 Type 1, the module supports an input voltage range of 24 VDC with a tolerance of -15% to +20%, and effective switching thresholds below 5 VDC for low and above 15 VDC for high. With 500 V isolation between channel and bus, it operates between -25°C to 60°C, suitable for various industrial conditions, and is recommended for horizontal mounting.
