The X20DO4322 module, produced by B & R Automation as part of the X20 Series, is designed for industrial applications requiring reliable digital output control. Utilizing current sourcing FETs, the module incorporates several protective measures, including thermal protection and a free-wheeling diode for voltage transient mitigation, along with a maximum short circuit current of under 12 Amperes. It supports fast switching times below 300μs, suitable for high-speed applications, and boasts a low off-state load current of 5 μA. With a braking voltage of 50 VDC for inductive loads and insulation voltage of 500 V, the module ensures safe operation amidst electrical interference. It connects via a 3-wire system and has an IP20 protection rating.
