The X20DO9321 by B & R Automation is a digital output module designed for advanced industrial automation systems within the X20 Series. Operating at a nominal 24 VDC with sink mode digital output, it supplies a nominal output current of 0.5 A per channel, totaling up to 6A across all channels, ensuring stable high-load performance. It features thermal cutoff protection to prevent damage by ceasing operation when excessive current or temperature is detected. With a rapid switching speed under 300 microseconds, the module efficiently handles switching of outputs. It manages conventional braking voltage up to 50 VDC to stabilize system performance after inductive load operation. Equipped with status indicators for channels and overall module condition, it aids in quick diagnostics and boosts system availability. The unit has an IP20 enclosure rating, consumes minimal energy at 0.26W from the bus and 0.99W for internal I/O, provides 500 V channel-to-bus isolation for safety, and is versatile with horizontal or vertical mounting options.
