Pacific Scientific's BA3628-1331-56B PMDC motor is a low voltage, high-performance motor from their popular BA series. This custom-model requires a 30 Volt DC input power supply and operates at an amperage of 16 amps. The power output is ½ H.P, equivalent to 373 watts, which gives it an exceptional maximum speed of 2000 RPM, compared to the 1750 RPM typically offered by other BA series motors. The motor boasts of a factory-designated enclosure fitting its voltage and speed specifications. It also complies with the NEMA B standard (low starting current, normal breakdown torque, low rotor torque, and 5% maximum slip). In addition, its high-temperature tolerance and anti-cogging magnets ensure smooth operation, while permanent magnet fields contribute to its lightweight design. The rugged commutator with brush springs assures steady signal transmission, making it a dependable choice for various applications.
