The P21NSXC-LSN-NS-02, a product of Pacific Scientific, is a high-performance stepper motor designed for high power applications. As part of the POWERMAX II series, it utilizes advanced Sigmax Technology, resulting in the highest torque and acceleration in the NEMA 23 category. The technology makes use of samarium cobalt stator magnets to concentrate magnetic flux, backed by neodymium iron boron magnets, the most potent permanent magnets available commercially. This model has a peak current of 1.51 A and a phase resistance of 2.61 ohms, enabling it to generate 0.028 Nm torque from the shaft's end, due to the expanded shaft size and rear shaft extension. Other benefits include superior thermal dissipation courtesy of its polymer encapsulated stator and enhanced torque range due to high-performance gearheads. Furthermore, its solid rotor improves torque at lower speeds and increases stiffness and damping.
