The PC842-001-F, manufactured by Pacific Scientific, is a member of the improved PC840 series of servo-drives from Kollmorgen. These all-digital DSP-based servo-drives offer enhancements in high-speed and real-time motion control via their SERCOS interface. The robust rectangular body of this drive measures 198.1mm and 157.9mm in length and width, respectively. It features a high-velocity loop bandwidth of 400Hz and an IGBT power-stage, contributing to both operational efficiency and noise reduction. With a SERCON816 ASIC interface for SERCOS connectivity, this drive offers network speeds of up to 16kHz. The drive can produce RMS currents of 2.7A for continuous operation, and 5.3A for peak operations, within a temperature range of 25-40℃. It maintains an output power of 1.1 kW for continuous operation and 2.25 kW at peak, all running on a voltage rating of 240v AC. This device also ensures durability and protection features like rush-current limiting, overtemperature protection, under-voltage protection.
