The SC402-023-T4 from Pacific Scientific is part of the renowned 400 Series of Brushless Servo Controllers. Primarily used to control Pacific Scientific's Permanent Magnetic Brushless Servo Motors, this unit offers a four-quadrant control. With over 90% efficiency at rated continuous power, it delivers a peak power of 1500 W and 20W continuous power, courtesy of its shunt regulator. It has a form factor of less than 1.01 and a current loop bandwidth of up to 3 kHz. The SC402-023-T4 also allows for nearly zero adjustable velocity offset and a velocity input command of +/-10V. For operational safety and ease, the servo motor controller is designed with a variety of protective circuits. It hosts plug-in connectors on its front panel for power connections and command interface. The unit must be mounted vertically, with three slots provided for this purpose.
