The SCE906-001-01, manufactured by Pacific Scientific, is a high-performance, medium power servo drive often used with brushless, 3-phase permanent magnet motors equipped with resolvers. This drive is part of the SC900 series and shares a similar control interface. The power electronics are compatible with both U.S. 480 VAC lines and European 400 VAC 3-phase mains. Standard features include an integral power supply, enclosed panel mount packaging, a robust single resolver, protection circuits, and diagnostic capability. Unique features include a digital DSP-based control with current loops, preset software parameters, digital auto-tuning, and a patented Digital Resolver to Digital (DRDC) converter (#5,162,798) offering 5.3 arc minute absolute accuracy and 24-bit resolution. Its modular construction with a removable option card allows for easy configuration, and it utilizes Advanced Signature Series sinusoidal current control.
