The Bosch Rexroth Indramat R911256107 (RAC 3.5-150-460-D0I-W1-220) is an industrially rated motor controller that delivers a continuous output of up to 35kW and can peak at 40kW. The unit operates at 3xAC 380-460V, 50-60 Hz and has an integrated emergency stop circuit. It utilizes internal air shafts for cooling but can also be adapted for outside air or hose cooling methods. It operates between 5-45 degrees Celsius, although its performance can drop to 80% at 55 degrees Celsius, and can be installed up to an altitude of 1 km above sea level. This controller comes with variable speed set-point interfaces and an additional encoder input for spindle synchronization. It is fully customizable with Indramat-supplied AS programming modules and offers several protection categories, the highest being IP 54. The R911256107 (RAC 3.5-150-460-D0I-W1-220) maintains the same level of protection regardless of inside air cooling, though this changes if cooled with outside air. Like most main spindle drive controllers, in case of a fault, the drive brakes until halt and the controller shuts off power.
