Produced by Kollmorgen, a well-known supplier of motion systems, the S403AM-SE is a reputable member of the SERVOSTAR 400 digital servo amplifiers series. Specifically designed for the control of servomotors, asynchronous motors, and linear motors, it efficiently manages up to 8 axes using just one system. As a Master Module, its main functions are to control the connected motor and transfigure the power supply while concurrently sharing the DC bus with the linked Axis Modules. All Axis Modules are configured simultaneously and parameters are held within this Master Module. The S403AM-SE operates on a 115 or 230 V AC Power Supply (both monophase and triphase) with a current rating of 3 A (RMS) and a peak current of 9 A. It also comes inclusive with an inbuilt SERCOS fieldbus communication interface for control of the drive when connected to external motion controllers and a Pulse/Direction interface for Electronic Gear Master/Slave operations.
