The S443M-SE, part of Kollmorgen's renowned SERVOSTAR 400 series, is a Master Module electric drive known for its effective motor control and AC power conversion onto a shared DC bus. Operating on a 230/400 V AC power supply, this device can manage a steady current of 3 amperes and can briefly supply a maximum current of 6000mA. Compatible with the integrated SERCOS fieldbus interface, its functionality can be manipulated with an additional device. The S443M-SE operates in temperate environmental conditions, ranging between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius when active and -25 to 55 degrees Celsius while in storage. S443M-SE installation requires an area with IEC 60664-1 pollution protection 2, ensuring only non-conductive alteration occurs. Via its in-built RS232 interface, the device’s parameters can be set up using a common PC. It works with various feedback options, including 5V incremental encoders, resolvers, HIPERFACE encoders, and ComCoders.
