The Okuma MIV15-3-V5 is an exceptional AC servo drive with an inbuilt control board. Known for its functionality as an MIV or inverter unit, it's compatible with Okuma's IPM or VAC motor. This second-generation MIV inverter spindle type drive encompasses a size of 380 x 150 x 325 mm and weighs 11.2 kg. The unit includes a large capacitance capacitor and controls one motor at a time with the single-axis feature. With an output power rating of 20 kW, it utilizes an ICB3 type inverter control board and ICB-H firmware. It relies on a 7-segment LED display board and requires a control board for configuration. The cooling fans prevent overheating ensuring the extended lifespan of the drive. The MIV15-3-V5 uses M4 x 8L screws for securing the control panel and includes a five-bit switch for setting the controller ID number when replaced.
