The TDA 1.1-100-3-A0I, a main spindle controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat, requires a minimum 80mm clearance from the top of the cabinet it is housed in. Heat dissipation occurs through the product's housing vents and depends on the device's load. Featuring three types of electrical connections, it is designed to work with Bosch's 2AD and 1MB series motors. Its modular design allows high precision control at low speeds and is usually employed in numerically controlled machine centers. The controller offers high stiffness and a broad speed range at constant power. It incorporates an incremental encoder output for thread cutting or position control by an NC controller operating in C-axis mode. Connection with an NC controller is made via a +/-10V analogue speed command value. The unit requires earthing via a conductor of a minimum 10mm2 cross-section.
