The TDA 1.3-050-3-L00 is a main spindle controller, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, designed for high precision control in numerically controlled machine tool centers. The controller identifies the rotor’s position in its attached motor, providing accurate regulation even at slower speeds. It has a transparent protective cover, which should be maintained attached during operation, and a programmable module secured by a threaded screw. It produces position signals, harmonious with incremental encoders, using the feedback from the motor or the optional spindle to operate its internal position control loop. The TDA 1.3-050-3-L00 has an X3 connector for motor feedback coupling, and uses the SERCOS interface for command exchanges. During maintenance and operation, specific rules of operation, such as correct tightening of screws and cable handling, must be followed. The product is useful across varying climates with operational storage between -30°C and 85°C. The average humidity should not surpass 70% when operating the controller.
