The TVM 2.2-050-220/300-W1/115/220 power supply module, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, provides DC bus voltage for drive controllers. It features a built-in power rectifier that converts AC line voltage into DC bus voltage. The module operates within a voltage range of 220 V at a frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz and delivers a power rating of 50 A. This product is typically used with synchronous servo digital drives for various motion control applications, and can also supply energy to a drive controller operating a generator. It incorporates a bleeder resistor that absorbs regenerated energy.
The power supply module can effectively supply various servo drives up to a mechanical continuous power output of 4.1 kW. Should a fault be detected, the module's dynamic braking system can halt the motors with a permanent magnetic field. The ready state contact activates the dynamic braking system should there be an issue in the electronic circuitry or feedback line of the drives. The TVM 2.2-050-220/300-W1/115/220 can be adapted to different line voltages via an autotransformer and can be paired with the TCM 1 auxiliary capacitance modules. Further energy absorption capacity can be enabled with an auxiliary bleeder module.
