The Okuma VACA302D (VAC3-D22), an industrial servo drive, is designed to operate on a three-phase AC input at 200 Volts, with a functional voltage range of 180 to 220 Volts AC. The drive supports input frequencies between 49 to 62 Hertz. Depending on the power capacity of the input power supply, the VACA302D (VAC3-D22) can provide 30 kilowatts or 40 Horsepower for 45 kVA rated supplies, or 22 kilowatts or 30 Horsepower for 33 kVA rated supplies. Okuma suggests regular inspections of the drive unit as the accumulation of dust or debris on the fan guard and ventilation hole can hinder heat radiation efficiency. Integral to the VACA302D (VAC3-D22) is a heat sink cooling fan, which should also be kept clean to ensure optimal performance. The drive is designed to perform best at an internal temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and an ambient temperature of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. When stored, the surrounding temperature should be maintained between -20 and 60 degrees Celsius. An AC voltmeter, an analog circuit tester, and a Phillips screwdriver are required for maintenance, which should be undertaken solely by qualified personnel.
