131B1874
The 131B1874 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series, itself a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC group. In an industrial line it governs the speed of three-phase induction motors, matching torque to real-time load and trimming energy use. The product’s purpose is purely functional: translate fixed-frequency mains power into a programmable output that lets conveyors, mixers, or pumps run only as fast as the process requires.
As a mid-range controller, the drive supplies a mechanical output of 30 HP, which corresponds to an electrical rating of 22 kW. Apparent input demand reaches 30.5 kVA, so upstream circuit components must be sized accordingly. It accepts mains voltages from 380 - 500 VAC on a Three Phase Power network and draws 739 W of internal losses at nominal load, heat that is removed by the built-in cooling channels. A graphical Local Control Panel supports parameter entry, and the latest software release is pre-installed; no dedicated C-level software option is activated. Frame size B2 simplifies cabinet layout, while series identifier 302 ensures parameter consistency with earlier AutomationDrive installations.
The enclosure carries a IP54/Type12 N3R rating, guarding the electronics against airborne dust and splashed liquids. Conducted emissions are limited by an integrated filter that meets RFI Class A1/B (C1) requirements. Physical dimensions stand at 261 mm deep, 243 mm wide, and 664 mm high, leaving adequate rear clearance for the standard cable entries. Printed circuit boards are not coated, so the unit should be kept away from corrosive vapors. Language support remains standard, and every modular slot—A, B, C0, C1, D, brake, and mains adaptation—is shipped without extra hardware, brake chopper, or Safe Stop circuitry, giving integrators a clean baseline for future upgrades.
