134H5277
The 134H5277 is an AC variable speed drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Within the VLT group, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a modulated output that matches the real-time needs of three-phase induction motors. By adjusting frequency and voltage, the drive lets process equipment hold target flow, pressure, or throughput while lowering mechanical stress and energy use in automated manufacturing cells.
In electrical terms the drive accepts a supply of 380-480 V AC ±10% 50/60 Hz from a distribution network and routes it to a motor through a sine-coded PWM inverter. The output side is sized for motors up to 0.75 HP, equivalent to a continuous power transfer of 0.55 kW. Internally, a three-leg IGBT stage works with a 3 phase input topology so line-side symmetry is preserved. The hardware configuration is delivered as standard with brake, meaning the unit includes a built-in braking chopper that can be wired to an external resistor for deceleration. Because the product carries no application option and no fieldbus card, commissioning is done through parameter menus, and the conformal coating protects circuit boards against humidity and airborne contaminants.
Mechanical integration is simplified by the Bookstyle enclosure, which has a narrow front profile that fits tightly in panel rows while leaving airflow paths open. Touch-safe access is supported by the drive’s IP20 protection rating, so additional cabinet shielding is only needed in high-dust or wash-down zones. Conducted emissions toward the supply are attenuated by the factory-installed EN 55011 A1 (IT-mains) RFI filter, easing compliance with industrial EMC limits. Parameter editing and status feedback are available through the front-mounted Built In Display (SLCP), allowing maintenance staff to monitor frequency, current, and alarms without connecting external tools. These features complete the electrical capabilities described above, giving panel builders a compact drive that meets standard process control requirements without optional fieldbus or application modules.
