175N2122
The 175N2122 is a decentralized AC drive produced by Danfoss within the FCD 300 Micro Drives series. As an FCD 300 unit, it mounts close to the motor and regulates speed and torque in conveying, mixing, or other processing lines on factory floors. By integrating power electronics, fieldbus communication, and environmental protection into a single housing, the drive simplifies installation and reduces cabinet wiring in industrial automation control systems.
It accepts a three-phase supply of 3x380-480 V, enabling operation on common industrial mains without an external transformer. The housing carries an IP66 rating, so internal components remain sealed against airborne dust and high-pressure water cleaning. Integrated communications are provided through Profibus DP V0/V1 12 Mbaud, allowing the controller to exchange set-points and status with PLCs in real time. Its continuous mechanical output is 0.75 kW, which suits small pumps, fans, or augers, while an integral 1A filter limits conducted radio-frequency noise on the power lines and helps meet EMC limits.
Additional features reinforce field usefulness. The drive’s mechanical build is extended with a brake, letting the connected motor decelerate quickly or hold position when the line is idle. When preferred units are used, the shaft rating equals 1.0 HP, providing a familiar reference for legacy equipment sizing. Electrical connections land in a wall-mount box with metric threads, so conduit entries match European and international panel standards. Because the firmware is tailored for a processing application, preset parameter groups streamline configuration of constant-torque mixers and variable-torque conveyors. A standard surface coating and a pluggable display connector complete the assembly.
