The AKD-P04807-NBEC-0000 is a position indexer servo drive produced by Kollmorgen. Adhering to US standards and supporting EtherCAT connectivity, this unit comes without an extension option and is paired with a standard width housing. It requires installation within a control cabinet and specific grounding methods, excluding use of bolts or hinges. Only shielded cables should be used when connecting filters and external regen resistors, following IEC 60204 feedback cable regulations. The drive is powered by an external 24 VDC supply and must operate with a mains choke if the mains voltage symmetry exceeds 3%. Parallel connections to the DC bus link with other similar drives must not exceed a combined total rating of 96 A. The drive should be disconnected from power during maintenance, supports a specific capacitor module from Kollmorgen and controls a 24 V holding brake found in the corresponding motor. Feedback functions are parameter-controlled via WorkBench, and this unit operates as a slave drive on an EtherCAT network. However, it doesn't support plug-and-play resolver connections for feedback.
