The Beckhoff AX5140-0000-0202 is a compact, single-channel digital servo drive from the AX51xx series, featuring a high-speed EtherCAT communication system for seamless integration with PC-based control technology. Its integrated control technology positions it as a dynamic device with quick response times. The drive is designed to connect with other AX500 devices through AX-Bridge control, allowing the formation of a multi-axis system. It is versatile and can connect to various types of motors such as synchronous, linear, torque, and asynchronous ones. It operates within a wide current range of 3A to 40A and a supply voltage of 3x100 - 480V AC ±10%. The servo drive includes multi-feedback interfaces, DC-link and breaking voltage energy controls, and supports multiple communication protocols. Safety features like STO, SS1, and TwinSAFE are built in to prevent inadvertent restarts of the drive axis. Its compact size makes it suitable for control cabinet installation and economical for OEM and multi-axis applications.
