The Beckhoff AX8620-0000-0000 is a power conversion unit designed for DC link voltage supply in multi-axis servo systems, part of the AX8000 series. It accepts single-phase inputs (100-240 V AC) and three-phase inputs (200-480 V AC), with frequencies of 50/60 Hz, providing outputs of up to 848 V DC. The unit delivers 5/7 A DC for single-phase and 20 A DC for three-phase. Built with an ANSI/IEEE C37.54, Category C3 mains filter and compliant with EN 61800-3, it may require additional electronics for dissipating regenerative energy, such as external resistors or capacitor modules like the AX8810. The AX-Bridge system facilitates seamless integration with 24 V DC and EtherCAT communication, enhancing system performance. Commissioning is simplified with TwinCAT 3 Drive Manager 2, and safety configurations are manageable using TwinCAT 3 tools.
