The BC9020 module from Beckhoff’s BC Bus Terminals series manages up to 64 bus terminals (expandable to 255) and is programmed via TwinCAT or Ethernet. It has 128 kbytes of program and data memory and 2 kbytes of remanent storage with 24 V DC input at 85 mA. It handles 2 040 digital and 512 analog signals with a PLC cycle time of about 1 ms per 1 000 instructions. Certified for CE, CCC, UL, ATEX, IECEx and DNV GL, it operates from –25 °C to +60 °C.
