The Beckhoff BK1501 from the BK EtherCAT Bus Couplers series is a compact plug-type coupling device designed for industrial automation. It provides a 24 V DC (-15%/+20%) voltage supply with a maximum 450 mA current consumption, and supports a modular bus terminal system for up to 64 bus terminals per station. Featuring a PROFIBUS fieldbus interface with DP/DPV1 transmission rates and dynamic addressing, the BK1501 ensures seamless network integration. Its line structure topology and diagnostic LEDs enable real-time monitoring, while connectivity extends to 65,534 EtherCAT terminals and station distances up to 2 km. With an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C and a compact size of 99 x 28 x 70 mm, this device is ideal for scalable, high-performance control cabinet installations.
