The BK5120-0100 bus coupler from Beckhoff's BK EtherCAT Bus Coupler Series supports up to 64 bus terminals, expandable to 255 with a K-bus extension. It handles 960 digital and 60 analog peripheral signals and offers a data rate of 1 Mbaud over screened twisted copper cable. CANopen functionality includes 16 Tx/Rx PDOs, life monitoring, node guarding and emergency object handling. The module weighs 150 g and is rated IP20.
