The BK9055 bus coupler from Beckhoff's BK EtherCAT series uses EtherNet/IP™ over a single RJ45 port. It supports 492-byte input and 492-byte output, handles 3,936 digital and 122 analog signals, and auto-selects 10/100 Mbit/s data rates. The module accommodates 64 terminals extendable to 255 via K-Bus and allows up to 100 m between coupler and hub or switch. Power is 24 V DC (-15%/+20%) and it operates from 0 to 55 °C with IP20 protection.
