The Beckhoff BK9103-1005 from the BK EtherCAT Bus Coupler Series is an industrial automation bus coupler offering a fieldbus buffer size of 512 B in and 512 B out and supporting up to 64 bus terminals (extendable to 255 with K-bus extension). It handles 512 digital peripheral signals and 256 analog peripheral signals, communicating via PROFINET RT (Class B) over two RJ45 ports with 10/100 Mbit/s auto-sensing data transfer. Powered by 24 V DC (±15%/+20%) with an input current of 70 mA plus K-bus and a maximum of 500 mA, it supplies the K-bus at 1750 mA. Topology options include line or star wiring, and configuration is performed via KS2000 software. Recommended fuse: ≤10 A.
