The Kollmorgen DSA 014-460 is a versatile, standard-sized drive from the DSA series of digital servo drives. It is optimally designed to function as a drive for sinusoidal AC brushless motors and a variable speed drive, with the potential to seamlessly replace a stepper drive. Offering a broad AC input frequency range of 47 Hz to 63 Hz, it provides a nominal AC input voltage between 230 V and 480 V, resulting in continuous and intermittent output current values of 7 A and 14 A respectively. Its output power is 1.5 kW for a 230 V AC input and 3.0 kW for a 460 V AC input. The DSA 014-460 is compatible with standard incremental encoders as well as single-turn high-resolution and multi-turn absolute encoders. Configuration is made easy through the DSAPro software, and the drive can be adapted to work with custom ASICs and IPMs. It performs best in conditions up to 55 degrees Celsius, 95% non-condensing humidity, and an altitude of 1500 m.
