Capable of executing and monitoring an array of position control tasks with hardware and software systems allow seamless execution of user-defined applications independent of operator terminal or computer workstation connections. The M.1016.9329 (502-03839-04) is packed with 3 high-speed inputs, 3 encoder input channels, 4 analog input channels, and 2 analog output channels. A 12-bit analog to digital converter consistently samples each channel, storing the values in the memory module. This allows the retrieval of any channel's value whilst the converter is focused on another channel. Each channel manifests an exceptionally low input sensitivity. The module also counters pulses from three encoders, latching the counter value based on a 24 VDC high-speed input event or an index. The model's field-side power dissipation hits a maximum at 7.4 W. Incorporated with a DIAG LED, it signals successful passage of diagnostic tests by turning off. The recommended ambient operating temperature for the system is between 7 °C to 55 °C.
