The X20DI9371, produced by B & R Automation, is a digital I/O module tailored for X20 systems, featuring 12 digital input channels designed for 24V DC sink-type connections. It includes LED indicators for each I/O channel as well as for module status and operating state, supplemented with software-accessible run/error diagnostics. The module consumes 0.18 Watts on the bus and 1.75 Watts for internal I/O. Complying with EN 61131-2 Type 1 standards, it accepts input voltage with a ±15% to +20% tolerance and supports both hardware and software input filters, with configurable software delays from 0 to 25 ms in 0.2 ms increments. With input resistance at 6.4 kΩ and current at 3.75 mA per channel, it offers a low/high switching threshold below 5V and above 15V. The module, IP20 rated and suited for indoor use, must be installed in a cabinet for outdoor use and supports vertical and horizontal mounting within -25 to 50°C and -25 to 60°C, respectively.
