The X20PS9502 by B & R Automation is an industrial-grade power supply module specifically designed for X20 PLC systems. It efficiently supplies power to internal I/O, X2X networks, and CPUs in Fieldbus or Compact series setups. While it offers cost-effective solutions for compact systems, it does not isolate the CPU supply from the X2X link supply. For redundancy and enhanced system availability, multiple modules can be used. It features an RS-232 interface with a transfer rate of 115.2 kbps and a CAN bus interface with a 1 Mbps rate, both requiring an X20TB12 terminal block for connections. The module supports both horizontal (-25 to 60°C) and vertical (-25 to 50°C) mounting and should be stored or transported at temperatures between -40 and 85°C. Rated IP20 for indoor use, it requires protective housing for outdoor environments. It operates with a 24V DC input and output and necessitates power line fuses for both.
