Bosch Rexroth Indramat's 104913769 (SD-B5.250.020-00.000) is a brushless servomotor, controlled by an SM..-T servo module for maximum efficiency. Suitable for diverse industrial servo applications, it works in tandem with the SM 25/50-T module, which offers a variety of monitoring options, including detection of tacho, PSU, and module faults. These fault reports can be stored on an optional diagnostics card for effective automated oversight. The current regulator function delivers optimal performance by comparing the actual current value with the speed regulator output.
The pulse inverter, in coordination with the commutation encoder, manages the bridge circuit semi-conductors that control the current in the motor windings, thus producing requisite torque in accordance with the rotor's position. The servo module monitors the motor's speed with three signals: one actual speed signal and two speed command signals. The SM 25/50-T unit includes numerous ports, such as test points, motor feedback, and control inputs, for comprehensive motor control. The servo module, handling a rated current of 25A, maximum DC link voltage of 700V, a peak current of 50A, and maximum power loss of 200W, should be installed in a control cabinet with a protection rating of IP 54 or IP44. Optimal cooling is attained through forced ventilation, while ensuring a clearance of 100mm above and below the module.
