Renowned for durability and multitasking, the PPC-R series offers high functionality for diverse automation systems. The 1070170281 (PPC-R22.1N-N-Q1-NN-NN-FW) variant is the first edition of series 22. As a modular controller, it serves as a versatile platform for programming various logic software or network computing applications. It employs a cross communication configuration, ARCNET, and comes with a factory-assigned firmware. This motion and logic controller is compatible with SERCOS - a widely-used communication system in industrial automation. It includes a slot for inserting compatible firmware modules. Features incorporated into the controller include the H2 distortion display, a fiber-optic emitter, and a fiber-optic receiver for SERCOS interface. Additional interfaces include the Indramat Serial interface for data transfer and X16 programming interface. The controller offers an H1 display for system status, a switchover display key, earthing bolt for protection, and X15 BT bus for multitasking with up to 6 PPC-specific devices. While the IP20 rating ensures dirt and dust protection, it does not offer any protection against liquids.
