131Z9199
The 131Z9199 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It modulates motor voltage and frequency so pumps, fans, and other process loads can match the demanded speed rather than running at fixed mains frequency. By adjusting acceleration, running speed, and deceleration, the drive supports tighter process control while lowering mechanical wear and energy consumption in automated production cells.
The unit connects to a mains supply of 200-240V AC on a Single Phase circuit and delivers a continuous output of 1.5 kW, equivalent to 2.0 HP. A built-in SLCP display presents parameters and fault codes, and the compact bookstyle housing carries a IP20 protection rating that requires installation inside a clean cabinet. The standard with brake hardware configuration integrates an internal brake chopper to dissipate regenerated energy during rapid stops. An EN 55011 Class A1 RFI filter limits conducted emissions so the drive can share power buses with sensitive instrumentation without additional line reactors.
The 131Z9199 is part of the VLT product group and is supplied without an application option, giving integrators a neutral platform for custom parameter sets. Its default profile targets Process duties, supporting loops that regulate flow, pressure, or temperature. All printed circuit boards are protected with coating to resist moisture and airborne contaminants in humid areas of the plant. Network integration is confined to hard-wired I/O because the drive ships without a fieldbus option, yet analog speed references and relay outputs still provide the necessary interface for basic automation tasks.
