The 175H1065 is an AC motor controller produced by Danfoss within the VLT 3000 Variable Speed Drives series. It modulates voltage and frequency so induction motors can match process demands in conveyors, pumps, and general-purpose machinery, cutting energy use and mechanical wear in automated lines.
This drive accepts a nominal input of 230 V three-phase power and, at peak demand, draws 13.3 A while delivering a continuous output of 5.6 A. Short-term overload capability reaches 9.0 A for sixty seconds, supporting motor acceleration without tripping protection. Output frequency is adjustable up to 500 Hz, allowing high-speed spindle or fan applications. A 25 A pre-fuse rating coordinates with upstream protection devices. The unit maintains rated performance between −10 °C and 40 °C ambient and in non-condensing spaces up to 95 % relative humidity. It also passes a 0.7 g vibration test for cabinet or wall mounting.
System efficiency is 0.96, so only 130 W of power is dissipated as heat at full load, simplifying enclosure ventilation. Acceleration and deceleration profiles can be stretched to 3600 s when delicate process transitions are required. Motor terminals support unshielded cable runs up to 1000 ft, which suits large-scale installations without additional output filters. For storage or shipping, the unit withstands −25 °C to 65 °C, ensuring electronics remain undamaged outside the operating envelope.
