The 178B2134 decentralized inverter is manufactured by Danfoss as part of the FCD 300 Micro Drives series. By integrating power electronics, control logic, and I/O in a sealed enclosure, this device mounts close to, or directly on, the driven equipment. Within automated production or material-handling cells it converts fixed mains power into a variable frequency and voltage, allowing small AC motors to follow speed references supplied by PLCs or simple analog signals while minimizing panel wiring.
Electrically the drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3x380-480V and delivers a continuous motor power of 0.37 kW, equivalent to .50 HP at the shaft.
