The Bosch Rexroth Indramat 2AD100C-B05OA4-AS03 is an advanced asynchronous motor designed for main-spindle applications. Part of the 2AD series, this air-cooled induction motor features a robust heat elimination system via an axial blowing unit with air baffles, efficiently cooling the motor by directing air from side B to side A. Equipped with two NTC thermistors, the motor is safeguarded from overheating by activating protective mechanisms upon reaching certain temperatures. Its squirrel-cage rotor facilitates quiet, maintenance-free operation due to the absence of brushes and slip rings. Operating at a nominal current of 27A and voltage of 168V, it delivers a nominal speed of 1,500 RPM and can reach up to 9,000 RPM. High-resolution motor feedback ensures precise position detection. Suitable for environments with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 45°C, the motor is best installed up to 1,000 meters above sea level, making it ideal for applications in printing, reshaping, food processing, and machining.
