The 2BP200.4 base plate module by B & R Automation, designed in 2010, is engineered for industrial applications, accommodating one I/O module with robust performance. Measuring 285mm x 40mm x 20mm, it meets C-UL-US safety standards, allowing versatility across industries. Its non-volatile real-time clock, powered by a lithium battery, ensures a minimum of two years' operation, supplemented by a gold foil capacitor for ten additional minutes. With a 10-millisecond resolution, the clock's reliability is enhanced by battery monitoring. User controls include a reset button, a key switch, and three programmable buttons, alongside a status display with six LEDs and an alphanumeric LCD. Communication interfaces comprise RS232 (IF1), RS232/TTY (IF2), and RS485/RS422 (IF3), each featuring specific connectivity capabilities and isolation characteristics, supporting various distances (up to 1200 meters for IF3) and baud rates, catering to different industrial connectivity needs.
