The 2BP300.4 base plate module by B & R Automation, manufactured in 2010, is built to house two CPU modules and ensure optimal performance in industrial settings. It complies with C-UL-US safety standards and measures 285mm x 80mm x 20mm (HxWxD). The module features six status LEDs and a two-line, eight-character alphanumeric LCD for quick status updates. It supports various communication interfaces: an uninsulated RS232 (IF1) interface for distances up to 15 meters at up to 64 kBaud, an RS232/TTY (IF2) isolated interface allowing 15 meters for RS232, or up to 300 meters for TTY, both at 64 kBaud. The RS485/RS422 (IF3) isolated interface supports up to 1200 meters at a maximum of 347 kbaud. Additionally, the CAN isolated interface reaches up to 1000 meters, supporting speeds from 50 kBits/s to 500 kBits/s. These features make it suitable for various industrial automation and control systems.
