The B&R 2DO428.6 Digital Output Module is an advanced component designed for the B&R System 2010, launched in 2010. Engineered for efficient digital signal processing in industrial automation, it features 32 transistor outputs divided into four isolated groups to enhance safety and reduce disturbances. Operating at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC, each output supports a voltage range of 18 to 30 VDC, with a continuous current capacity of 0.5 A per output. Collectively, the unit can handle up to 16 A, with overload protection resetting in approximately five seconds. The module offers a logic switching speed of five microseconds from low to high and 60 microseconds from high to low, suitable for resistive loads up to 500 Hz. It includes features like internal overvoltage protection up to 55 V and reverse voltage protection, ensuring reliability and a long lifespan. Maximum power consumption is 5 watts internally and an additional 2 watts externally per group under a 24 V supply.
